Staff Selection Commission is invites applications for the post of Junior Translators Junior Translator (CSILs)/ Junior Hindi Translators in various Offices/Departments under Department of Official Language all over country.
- Junior Translators (CSOLs) (Group 'B' Non-Gazetted):
- Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800/- + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-
- Educational Qualifications ( As on 27/09/2010)
- Master Degree in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium examination at degree level from a recognized University. OR
- Master Degree or a equivalent in any subject other than Hindi or English with Hindi or English medium and English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject as a medium of examination at degree level from a recognized University. OR
- Master Degree in any subject other than Hindi or English with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subject or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level from a recognized University. AND
- Diploma or certificate Course in Translation from Hindi and vice-versa OR Two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central or State Government Offices including Government of India Undertaking from a recognized University or institution.
- Junior Hindi Translators ( in Subordinate Offices) Group'C' Non Technical)
- Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800/- + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-
- Educational Qualifications ( As on 27/09/2010)
- Master Degree or equivalent in English/Hindi with Hindi/English as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level from recognized University.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with Hindi and English as main subjects from a recognized University.
Application Fee: Rs. 100/- (No fee from all women candidate and candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH and Ex-Servicemen)
Closing Date: 27/09/2010 (upto 5 P.M.). For candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu and Kashir, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and for candidates residing abroad 04/10/2010 (upto 5 P.M.)
