Applications on prescribed forms are invited for the following positions:

Name of Post: Professor/Chief Scientist (16 Posts)

Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000/- + AGP of Rs. 10,000/-

Educational Qualification:

• Doctoral degree in the subject concerned or in specified related discipline as the case may be.
• 12 years teaching and/or research experience (not below the rank of Assistant Professor) in the concerned subject out of which 5 years should be in the rank of Associate Professor or equivalent.
• Good research experience as evidenced by publications.

Desirable:

• Ability to provide leadership in the subject/discipline.
• Administrative experience in a teaching/research institution.

Allowance & Provident Fund : As per the University statues and rules of J&K CSR

Age: 20-55 years (as on 01.01.2010)

Nature of Appointment: Temporary with two year's probation.

Application Fee: Demand Draft of Rs. 1500/- drawn in favour of Comptroller, SKUAST of Jammu.
