Central Leather Research Institute (CLRI) was founded on 24 April, 1948. Now, it is a central hub in Indian leather sector with direct roles in education, research, training, testing, designing, forecasting, planning, social empowerment and leading in science and technology relating to leather. CLRI proposes to conduct walk-in interview for the following posts:

Leather Industry Experts (11 Posts)

Educational Qualification:

Candidates have B.Tech / M.Tech / Diploma in Leather Technology or any other degree with wide experience working in commercial tanneries.

Age Limit:

Not exceeding 60 Years

Leather Industry Experts - System Development (02 Posts)

Educational Qualification:

Candidates having B.Tech / M.Tech / Diploma in Leather Technology or any other degree with wide experience working in commercial tanneries.

Age Limit:

Not exceeding 60 Years

Leather Machinery - Maintenance Engineers (05 Posts)

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should be B.E or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering.

Age Limit:

Not exceeding 60 Years

Glove Leather Expert (01 Post)

Educational Qualification:

Candidates having B.Tech / M.Tech / Diploma in Leather Technology or any other degree with wide experience working in commercial tanneries.

Age Limit:

Not exceeding 60 Years

Leather Machinery operators (02 Posts)

Educational Qualification:

Minimum SSLC appeared with good spoken English and long experience in the operation of leather machines, capable of imparting training to personnel in the operation of leather machineries.

Age Limit:

Not exceeding 45 Years

Walk-in-Interview Date, Time & Venue

Candidates who fulfill the educational & experience qualification may attend the Walk-in interview with a soft copy and hard copy of their Curriculum Vitae at CLRI, Adyar, Chennai 600 020, Tamilnadu, scheduled for Wednesday, the 5th January, 2011 between 10.00 am to 12.00 Noon.
