Recruitment Details of Scientist Vacancy 2011

Applications are invited from eligible candidates to fill up the following vacancies at National Institute of Virology and its Units at different parts of the country:

Scientist-C (02 Posts)

Pay Scale: PB-3 Rs. 15,600-39,100/- + Grade Pay Rs. 6,600/-
Educational Qualification: MBBS Degree recognized by MCI or equivalent degree from a recognized University with 4 years R & D experience in related subject.

Scientist-C (03 Posts)

Pay Scale: PB-3 Rs. 15,600-39,100/- + Grade Pay Rs. 6,600/-
Educational Qualification: MBBS / M.V.Sc Degree recognized by MCI / VCI or equivalent degree from a recognized University OR 1st Class Masters Degree in relevant subject from a recognized University with 4 years R & D experience in related subject.

Scientist-C (Bio-engineering) (01 Post)

Pay Scale: PB-3 Rs. 15,600-39,100/- + Grade Pay Rs. 6,600/-
Educational Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech. in Bioengineering from a recognized University with 6 years R & D experience in related subject.

Scientist-B (05 Posts)

Pay Scale: PB-3 Rs. 15,600-39,100/- + Grade Pay Rs. 5,400/-
Educational Qualification: MBBS / M.V.Sc Degree recognized by MCI / VCI with 2 years experience or equivalent degree from a recognized University OR 1st Class Masters Degree in relevant subject from a recognized University.

AMBEDKAR ROAD, POST BOX NO.11, PUNE – 411 001. Application form duly completed in all respects along with a crossed demand draft of Rs.100/- (Rupees One hundred only) drawn in favor of Director, NIV, Pune payable at SBI Main Branch, Pune and attested copies of certificates in support of date of birth, educational qualification, experience, caste verification etc., may be sent to THE DIRECTOR, NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF VIROLOGY, 20-A, DR. AMBEDKAR ROAD, POST BOX NO.11, PUNE – 411 001 on or before 02/04/2011. Separate application should be submitted for each post and specialty. SC/ST/PH and Women candidates are exempted from payment of Rs.100/-. ICMR employees are not exempted from the payment.
