The Indian Navy invites Engineers to join Indian Navy as a Short Service Commissioned Officers in Technical Branches. Applications are invited from unmarried male candidates who fulfill eligibility condition of Nationality as laid down by the Government of India for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Technical [Engineering (E) & Electrical (L)] Branches of the Indian Navy for course commencing Jan 2012.
Technical (General Service)
- Age :191/2 to 25 years (Born between 02/01/1987 to 01/07/1982 both dates inclusive)
- Age :191/2 to 25 years (Born between 02/01/1987 to 01/07/1982 both dates inclusive)
Educational Qualification
Candidate should have complete four years BE/B.Tech Engineering Degree qualified with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university with one of the following streams:Technical Branch (General Service)
- Engineering (E) Branch: Mechanical / Marine / Automotive / Mechtronics / Industrial & Production / Metallurgy / Aeronautical / Aerospace / Control & Production
- Electrical (E) Branch: Electrical / Electronics / Tele Communication / Branch Instrumentation / Instrumentation and Control / Electronics and Instrumentation / Electronics and Communication / Power Engineering / Control System Engineering / Power Electronics / Computer Science Engg. / IT / Avionics
Technical Branch (Submarine Cadre)
- Engineering Branch: Mechanical
- Electrical Branch: ‘Electrical’ or ‘Electronics’ or ‘Instrumentation and Control’ or Telecommunication
