Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture invites applications for Research Associate: Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) has invited applications for post of Research Associate on temperary basis for five years up to 07/04/2011 under the Under the ICAR National Fellow Project on “Development of Novel Immunopotentiator Molecules from Fish Host and Pathogens for Broad Spectrum Disease Control in Freshwater Aquaculture”, at CIFA, Bhubaneswar.

Qualification: Ph.D (Zoology/Microbiology/Immunology/Biotechnology/ Biochemistry) or M. Sc in above discipline with minimum three years experience in immunology or microbiology or molecular biology or biochemistry.
Desirable: Experience in protein expression & purification, RACE and bioinformatics tools.

Age Limit: 40 years for men and 45 years for women candidates on the date of interview.
Salary: Rs.23,000/- p.m. (fixed) + 20% HRA.
