Indian Institute of Mass Communication Recruitment July 2011 for Assistant Professors in Amravati and Aizwal: Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has been invited applications in the prescribed format for Post of Assistant Professor (English Journalism) on contract basis 02 post for Amravati and 01 for Aizwal:
Qualification for Assistant Professor:
a) Good academic record with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade where grading system is practiced at the Master’s Degree level in Mass communication/Journalism or related subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
b) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) or similar test accredited by the UGC.
c) Holders of Ph. D. degree as on the date of notication of these regulations along with those candidates who are awarded a Ph. D. Degree through a process of admission, registration, course work and external evaluation as have been/or may be laid down by UGC through its regulations, shall be exempted from NET.
Age Limit: 40 years as on 01/07/2011
Remuneration: Rs. 35,000/- per month consolidated.
