Principal required in Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition Dehradun Uttarakhand: Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition Dehradun has been established on similar pattern of other IHMs under Ministry of Tourism, Government of India which is managed by a registered Society. IHM Dehradun invites applications from interested and eligible candidates for post of Principal (Direct Recruitment):

Pay Scale for Principal (Direct Recruitment): Rs. 37,400-67,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 8,700 plus allowances as applicable to employees of Government of Uttarakhand.

Age Limit for Principal (Direct Recruitment): Not exceeding 52 years as on 01/07/2011 (Relaxation as per rules).

Educational Qualification for Principal (Direct Recruitment): Degree/ Three year Diploma in Hotel Management from an Institute to National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology/ State Board of Technical Education/ Recognized University. The candidate must have secured at least 50% marks in Degree/ Diploma in Hotel Management.

Experience: At least 3 years experience in hotel related subjects as Head of Department in an Institute of Hotel Management affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology.
OR
At least 20 years of experience in teaching and/ or htel industry including minimum 3 years in hotel operations related subjects as Head of Department in an Institute of Hotel Management affiliated to State Board of Technical Education/ recognized University.
OR
At least 20 years of experience in teaching and/ or hotel industry including 3 years as Principal in a Food Craft Institute affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology.
OR
Minimum of 20 years hotel industry experience including minimum 5 years in Managerial capacity in 4 star/ Heritage or above category approved hotel.
