UPSC IES/ ISS Examination 2011 Indian Economic Service/ Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2011: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has advertised a notice for Indian Economic Service/ Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2011. Examination Notice No. is 11/2011-IES/ISS. Eligible candidates are required to apply online through website www.upsc.gov.in on or before 29/08/2011 till 11.59 PM. Candidates residing in specified remote areas may apply offline and applications must be reach to the "Controller of Examinations, Union Public Service Commission, Dhaulpur Hous, hahjahan Road, Nw Delhi - 110 069" by Post/ Speed Post only by 05/09/2011.
Educational Qualification:
For Indian Economic Service- Candidates should be Post Graduate in Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics/ Econometrics.
For Indian Statistical Service- Candidates should be Post Graduate in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics.
Fee for IES/ ISS Examinations: Candidates applying Online are required to pay a reduced fee of Rs. 100/- either by remitting the money in any Branch SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of SBI or by using Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit card. Rs. 200/- for candidates of Specified Remote Areas applying Offline. No fee for Female/SCs/STs/Physically Handicapped only.
The examination will be held at Ahmadabad, Jaipur, Allahabad, Jammu, Bangalore, Kolkata, Bhopal, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Chennai,Patna, Cuttack, Shillong, Delhi, Shimla, Dispur, Thiruvananthapuram, Hyderabad.
