Scientist: Pay Scale Rs. 15,600-39,100/- + Grade Pay Rs. 6,600/-
Qualification: Ph.D with relevant post
Maximum Age Limit: 32 Years

Senior Scientist: Pay Scale Rs. 15,600-39,100/- + Grade Pay Rs. 7,600/-
Qualification: Ph.D with relevant post having 2 years of experience.
Maximum Age Limit: 37 Years

Principal Senior Scientist: Pay Scale Rs. 37,400-67,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 8,700/-
Qualification: Ph.D with relevant post having 3 years of experience.
Maximum Age Limit: 45 Years

Senior Principal Scientist: Pay Scale Rs. 37,400-67,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 8,900/-
Qualification: Ph.D with relevant post having 6 years of experience.
Maximum Age Limit: 50 Years
