Since its inception, the Institute has grown in strength and stature to mature as a professional body providing research and consultancy support in almost entire spectrum of rock mechanics with International standard. Director: Pay Scale Rs. 37,400-67,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 10,000/-
Qualification: BE/B.Tech(Civil)/post graduate in earth sciences
Maximum Age Limit: 55 Years
